Foreigner's Tribunal Assam has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of Stenographer and Typist vacancy at Foreigners Tribunal Tezpur. In pursuance of the Govt. letter No PLB.60/2020/312 Dated 24/12/2021 applications are invited in the Standard Form of application published in the Assam Gazette Part IX from the intending candidates, who are citizen of India for filling up the following sanctioned vacant Grade-III posts in the office of the Member, Foreigners’ Tribunal Tezpur 5th, Biswanath Chariali, Biswanath. 1) Name of the post : Stenographer Gr-IlI
No. of post : 1 (One).
Qualification & Experience : The candidates must have completed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent and having diploma in Stenography from ITI/State Govt. recognized institute and must be computer-literate.
Salary : PB Rs.14000-60500, GP 7400/- and other allowance as per Govt. rules.
2) Name of the post : Typist
No. of post : 1 (One).
Qualification & Experience : The candidates must have completed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent and having 6 (six) months diploma in Computer applications from Govt. recognized institute and must be computer-literate.
Salary : PB Rs.14000-60500, GP 6200/- and other allowance as per Govt. rules.
Eligibility Criteria
1) Age Limit: The candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST(P) / ST(H) candidate and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates as per Govt. Office Memorandum ABP.6/2016/51 dated. 02.09.20.

1) The application should be submitted in a Standard Form mentioning address, mobile number with photocopies of all relevant documents including education qualification, valid employment exchange registration certificate along with 03 copies of recent passport size photograph and a self-addressed envelope of 5 cm x 11 cm size affixing postal stamp of Rs 10/- clearly mentioned the post applied for on the top of the envelope addressed to the Member, Foreigners’ Tribunal, Tezpur 5th, at Biswanath Chariali-784176.
Selection Procedure
1) Candidates will have to appear in a written test. Successful Candidates from written test will have to appear in practical test as applicable for the post(s).
2) No TA/ DA will be admissible for the written test as well as the practical test.
3) The post in all cadres are purely temporary and continued till the existence of Foreigners Tribunals. The employees shall have no claim to continue in service in case the Tribunals are abolished.
4) The selected candidates for appointment will have to submit an undertaking to appointing authority that he/she shall be abided by the New Pension Rules of the Government.
