Animal husbandry & Veterinary department has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 2 nos. of Laboratory Assistant / Technician / Technical Assistant / Field Assistant and 1 no. of Lab Attendant vacancy under “Establishment of a Consortium for One Health to address Zoonotic and trans-boundary diseases in India, including the Northeast Region” funded by DBT. Veterinary Recruitment and Animal Health Care Recruitment, 2022
1) Name of the post : Laboratory Assistant / Technician / Technical Assistant / Field Assistant
No. of post : 2 (Two)
Qualification : The candidates should have BSc. degree/VFA with 1 year training course.
Desirable : Candidates having experience in laboratory work. Candidates having handling of animal sample and field data collection along with computer knowledge will be preferred. Preference will be given to those candidates are from Silchar & Golaghat.
Salary : Rs.18000/- plus 8% HRA Per Month fixed.
2) Name of the post : Lab Attendant
No. of post : 1 (One)
Qualification : 10th pass/HS/Degree.
Desirable : Candidates having experience in laboratory work.
Salary : Rs.12000/- consolidated.
Age limit : Age should not be below 21 years and not above 35 years on the 1st day January 2022. Relaxation in case of women, SC/ST candidates as per rules.

1) For SI No.1. Candidates are requested to send application in standard form with duly signed latest bio-data, 3 copies of passport sized photograph, attested copies of all relevant documents, NOC where applicable to the Principal Investigator (drjcvety12@gmail.com) on or before 28th February 2022. Hard copy should be produce at the time of interview for those candidates applied through Email. Application received after the due date will not be considered.
2) The hard copy of complete application with BIODATA, attested copies of all relevant document should reach to the office of the Animal Health Centre, NERDDL, Khanapara, Guwahati781022 on or before 28th February, 2022 for both categories of SL No 1 & 2.
3) For SI. No. 1 Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and at the time of interview candidates has to produce the all relevant documents, certificates, mark-sheet, experience certificate etc. in original form for verification.
Terms and Conditions
1) The posts are purely temporary/contractual and co-terminus with the project. The recruitment will be initially for one year and will be extended periodically based on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
2) No Earned Leave/Medical Leave is admissible.
3) No TA & DA will be paid for the purpose.
4) The Director, A.H.& Vety. Deptt., Assam reserves the right to cancel/postpone/reject the interview without any reason thereof.
