Free Paramedical Courses in Assam 2022: 250 DMLT, ICU, OT, DCCT, DEFA I Sakori in Guwahati

The Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare has released an admission notification for the courses of 250 vacancies in Assam. Applications are invited for admission into Paramedical Courses in the Institute of Paramedical Sciences attached to the Medical Colleges of Assam, as a special drive for students of the Tea Tribes Community of Assam. Applications may be submitted only by candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria set by the Director of Medical Education, Assam. How to apply for Free Paramedical Courses in Assam 2022

1) Eligible and interested candidates may apply through an application form given below.

2) Candidates with duly issued Caste certificate as belonging to recognized Tea Tribes Community of Assam, having passed 10+2 examination in Science stream from recognized Educational Board/Council with English as one of the subject securing at least 40% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject in Higher Secondary final examination.

3) Age limit: must be 17 to 27 years of age as on 01-01-2022

4) Shortlisted candidates as per district-wise merit fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall be called for verification of their documents and oral interview by a Screening Committee in Guwahati for final selection.

5) Fee of course: Course of Diploma Course for selected candidates will be free and financial assistance will also be provided as per the norms of the Tea Tribes Welfare Department.

6) Total intake for the year 2022-23 would be 250 nos. spread across the institutes of paramedical sciences of Assam.
