Director of Horticulture & F.P. has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of 25 nos of Grade I and Grade II vacancies including IT Programmer, Technical Executive (HQ), Accounts Executive, Technical Executive (Agri), Technical Executive, (Agri Engg.), Data Entry Operator Grade I and Data Entry Operator Grade II, etc


Applications are invited from intending candidates willing to work purely on a contractual basis for the following vacancies under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana- Per Drop More Crop (PMKSY-PDMC) implemented by the Directorate of Horticulture & F.P., Assam. The contract period for the vacancies mentioned below is 11 (Eleven) months only and may be extended on the basis of satisfactory performance

1) Name of the Post: IT Programmer

No. of post: 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience: B. Tech/BE (CS/IT), MCA, M. Sc (IT). Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent at Graduation level.  
Work Experience:- Minimum 1 yr experience in IT sector (Software Development & Programming) Skill:- (HTML/CSS/java script/PHP/C++ , .NET, SQL with development skill.

Age limit:  21-38 years

Responsibility: Web Designing, Development, and Management.

Remuneration: Rs.35000/- PM fixed.


2) Name of the Post: Technical Executive (HQ)

No. of post: 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience:  B.Sc (Agriculture) / B. Sc (Horticulture) with knowledge of computer (MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint etc.) . Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent at Graduation level
Work Experience:- Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in Agriculture/ Horticulture under any Govt. scheme.

Age limit: 23-38 years

Responsibility: Preparation of all types of reports, collection of data from districts, etc.

Remuneration: Rs.25000/- PM fixed.


3) Name of the Post: Accounts Executive

No. of post: 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience: B. Com or equivalent with specialization in Accounting and Finance with 1-year post qualification experience in maintaining Accounts both in Digital & Manual. Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent marks at the graduate level

Age limit: 23-38 years.

Responsibility: All types of fund release work, GST deductions, maintaining of Accounts, Audits, etc.

Remuneration: Rs.25000/- PM fixed.


4) Name of the Post: Technical Executive (Agri)

No. of post: 10 (Ten)

Qualification & Experience: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with 2 years post qualification experience in fieldwork preferably in the irrigation sector and knowledge of computers. Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent marks in graduate level.

Age limit: 23-38 years.

Responsibility: Monitoring of all types of installation work, preparation of estimates for water source creation work, and liaison with DAO office /Engg Cell of Department.

Remuneration: Rs.25000/- + 7500 TA fixed PM


5) Name of the Post: Technical Executive (Agri Engg.)

No. of post: 10 (Ten)

Qualification & Experience: Degree/Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 2 years post qualification experience preferably in the irrigation sector and knowledge of computers. Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent marks at graduate/diploma level. 

Age limit: 23-38 years.

Responsibility: Monitoring of all types of installation work, preparation of estimates for water source creation work, and liaison with DAO office /Engg Cell of Department.

Remuneration: Rs.25000/- + 7500 TA fixed PM


6) Name of the Post: Data Entry Operator (Gr-I)

No. of post: 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience: BCA/ B.Sc (CS/IT)/ 3 years Diploma in CS/IT or equivalent qualifications with one year post qualification experience. Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent marks at graduate/diploma level. 

Age limit: 23-38 years.

Responsibility: All types of Data Entry/ data computing/ other office works.

Remuneration: Rs.20000/- PM fixed.


7) Name of the Post: Data Entry Operator (Gr-II)

No. of post: 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience: 12th passed with Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) and minimum 3 years work experience in web management specific to www.minetassam.in the portal under the PMKSY scheme. Minimum 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA or equivalent marks at 12th Standard level.

Age limit: 23-38 years.

Responsibility: All types of Data Entry/ data computing/ other office works.

Remuneration: Rs.18000/- PM fixed.



How to apply to Director of Horticulture Assam Recruitment 2022

1) Eligible and interested candidates may apply through the prescribed format.

2) Duly filled up application along with self-attested copies of mark sheet, certificates from HLSC onwards, experience certificate, etc. must be submitted to the Directorate of Horticulture & F.P. during office hours within the last day of submission of application as per notice circulated. No application will be received after the same date & time.

3) After scrutiny of the testimonials, the names of candidates fulfilling the criteria shall be uploaded to the website: http://dirhorti.assam.gov.in and shall be invited to appear before the interview board on specific dates and venues.

4) Interview board constituted hereunder will conduct Walk-in-interview for the engagement of contractual employees.

5) The candidates must place an original copy of their documents submitted along with the application form before the interview board for verification; any lapses may cause rejection of their candidature.

6) Valid 10-digit mobile No. and E-mail ID must be furnished in the application form. Correspondence from the DHFP (if any) shall be made only through E-mail. DHCP shall not be liable for non-receipt of E-mail.

7) Director of Horticulture & F.P., Assam shall be the final authority for engagement of a candidate, termination of a contractual employee or extension of terms, period of service, etc.

8) Minutes of the Interview Committee will be submitted within 7 days from the date of the interview conducted, for approval from the Chairman, Selection Committee.

9)  Final appointment letter to the selected candidates will be issued by the Director of Horticulture & F.P., Assam.

10) Appointment of contractual employees will be based on funds available in the financial year under the PMKSY scheme and accordingly the number of vacancies may increase or decrease. The number of vacancies shown in the table at para B is purely tentative.

11) The Director of Horticulture & F.P, Assam may divert the field level vacancies from one district to another district based on the requirement and performance of the field level contractual employee.
