Assam Government has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of Office Peon and Driver vacancies under the establishment of District & Sessions Judge, Golaghat. Applications are invited from the citizens of India as defined under Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India in the Standard Form as published in Part IX of the Assam Gazette for filling up the following posts under the establishment of the District & Sessions Judge, Golaghat.

1) Name of the Post: Office Peon

No. of post: 1 (One)

Category: Unreserved

Qualification & Experience:  Minimum Qualification is Class VIII Pass, and those who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said posts.

AGE: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as of 01.01.2022. Age relaxation will be as per Govt. norms for reserved categories.

Salary: Rs.15000/- fixed PM

2) Name of the Post: Driver

No. of post: 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience:  Minimum Qualification is a Class VIII pass having a valid Driving License.

AGE: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as of 01.01.2022. Age relaxation will be as per Govt. norms for reserved categories.

Salary: Rs.15000/- fixed PM

SELECTION PROCESS: Mode of selection in respect to the post mentioned in SI. No. 1 shall be through oral interview and mode of selection in respect of the post mentioned in Sl. No. 2 shall be through a driving test and oral interview.

How to apply to District & Sessions Judge Recruitment 2022

1) The applicant will have to submit self-attested documents (photocopy) of educational qualification, age proof, valid Driving license and caste certificate along with 3 copies of recent passport size photographs.

2) The applicant must clearly mention on the envelope the post he/she has applied for.

3) Candidates serving in govt. the department must apply through the proper channels.

4) Completed applications along with all testimonials as mentioned above should be addressed to “The District & Sessions Judge, Golaghat-785621, Assam”.

5) Applications should reach the office of the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in newspapers.

6) Separate applications should be submitted for separate posts.

Other Terms & Conditions

I. The admission of candidates at all stages of the selection process will be purely provisional at any time before or after the selection process, if it is found that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature shall stand canceled without any notice. 

II. The Selection Board will not be responsible for any postal delay in delivering the applications and those applications will be summarily rejected without any notice. 

III. Mere calling of a candidate to participate in the selection process or issuance of admit card/call letter etc. does not necessarily mean acceptance of candidature of any candidate which shall be further scrutinized at every stage and the selection /appointing authority reserves the right to reject the candidature of any candidate at any time. 

IV. The list of the eligible candidates and the list of rejected candidates will be uploaded to the official website (golaghatjudiciary.gov.in) with the date of the interview. 

V. No individual call letter will be sent to eligible candidates. However. A list of candidates to be called for the viva-voce/ driving test will be uploaded to the official website of Golaghat District Judiciary (golaghatjudiciary.gov.in) and candidates will download the same from the official website. 

VI. Valid Employment Exchange Registration Number is mandatory for those who are not in service. The candidates shall have to mention the Employment Exchange Registration number and dates in the application. 

VII. No TA/DA etc. shall be paid to the candidates for participating in the selection process. 

VIII. Any information submitted by an applicant in his/her application will bind the candidate personally. 

IX. The candidate will be responsible for any mistake made by them in the application form and the selection/appointing authority shall not be responsible or liable for anyway. 

X. The certificate for the claim of reservation must be obtained from the competent authority. 

XI. The appointment and conditions of service of the selected candidates shall be governed by the relevant Rules. 

XII. If any candidate is found canvassing directly or indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected. 

XIII. If any candidate is found to have suppressed his/her educational qualification or given any wrong information at the time of applying for the above-mentioned posts, his/her candidature shall be liable to be rejected without any notice and further, legal action may be taken against him/her. 

XIV. All other matters which are not specially provided in this advertisement shall be as decided by the selecting/appointing authority.
