Army Institute of Nursing Department has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of various Teaching, Non-Teaching vacancies including Associate professors Community Health Nursing/ Child Health Nursing, Assistant Professor, Mental Health Nursing, Tutor, Computer Instructor, Accountant, Clerk (Account), Warden, Driver, Electrician cum generator Operator, Security Guard, etc. Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati, established in 2006 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi (affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Assam), invites applications for the following posts on contractual basis.

1) Name of the Post: Associate Professor. Community Health Nursing/ Child Health Nursing
No. of Post: 2 (Two)
Qualification & Experience: The candidates should have passed M.Sc. Nursing in Community Health/ Child Health Nursing specialty with Eight years experience with M.Sc. Nursing includes Five years of teaching experience. Ph.D. (Nursing) desirable.
Salary: Rs.48000/- PM
2) Name of the Post: Assistant Professor, Mental Health Nursing
No. of post: 1 (One)
Qualification & Experience: The candidates should have passed M.Sc. Nursing in Mental Health Nursing specialty with Three years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing.
Salary: Rs.36000/- PM
3) Name of the Post: Tutor
No. of post: 4 (Four)
Qualification & Experience: The candidates should have passed M.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing with 1year of experience.
Salary: Rs.19200/- PM
4) Name of the Post: Computer Instructor
No. of post: 1 (One)
Qualification & Experience: The candidates should have passed BCA/MCA/M.Sc. IT/B.Tech in Computer application/ Computer Science.
Salary: Rs.15870/- PM
5) Name of the Post: Accountant

Qualification & Experience: The Graduate or fifteen years of service as a clerk (for Ex-Serviceman) computer literate, typewriting with a minimum speed of 50 WPM and five years experience as a clerk or an accounts clerk and typist in a reputed organization; preferably a school or college.
Salary: Rs.17200/- PM
6) Name of the Post: Clerk (Account)
No. of post: 1 (One)
Qualification & Experience: The candidate should be Graduate or ten years of service as a clerk (for Ex-Serviceman), computer literate, Typewriting with a minimum speed of 50 WPM and basic knowledge of accounting.
Salary: Rs.13225/- PM
7) Name of the Post: Warden
No. of post: 1 (One)
Qualification & Experience: The Female category only. Candidates should be a graduate of recognized universities.
Salary: Rs.21160/- PM
8) Name of the Post: Driver
No. of post: 3 (Three)
Qualification & Experience: The candidates should have driving experience in Heavy & Light Vehicles & pass the Class 10th examination from any recognized board. Preference will be given to experienced candidates.
Salary: Rs.10580/- PM
9) Name of the Post: Electrician cum generator Operator
No. of post: 1 (One)
Qualification & Experience: The candidate should have passed the H.S Exam, ITI Diploma Holder with a minimum of one year experience.
