Foreigners Tribunal Assam has released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 2 Nos. of Data Entry Operator (DEO) and 1 No. of Office Peon vacancy at Guwahati. In pursuance of the Govt. letter No. PLB. 60/2020/310 dated 24.12.2021, applications are invited in Standard Form of Applications published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX from the interested eligible candidates, who are the citizen of India as defined under the Constitution of India and fulfill the eligibility norms as laid down below, for filling up the following contractual posts of Grade-III & Grade-IV, which are lying vacant in the Office of the Foreigners Tribunal No. 2, Kamrup (M), Hedayetpur, Guwahati, Assam. The details are as shown below:

1) Name of the post : Data Entry Operator (DEO)

No. of post : 2 (Two)

Qualification & Experience : The candidate's should be Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination passed with basic knowledge of computer operations and good typing speed in English.

Age limit :  A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more’than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC and 3 years for OBC/MOBC.

Salary : Rs.10000/- PM fixed.

2) Name of the post : Office Peon

No. of post : 1 (One)

Qualification & Experience : The candidates should be class VIII passed.

Age limit :  A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more’than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC and 3 years for OBC/MOBC.

Salary : Rs.9000/- PM fixed.

How to apply Foreigners Tribunal Guwahati Recruitment 2022

1) The application should be submitted in the Standard Form as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX in a sealed envelope mentioning the name of post clearly in Block letters and may be dropped at the Drop Box maintained at the office premises of the undersigned on official days during office hour. The candidate may also submit their application through post to the address “The Member, Foreigners Tribunal No. 2, Kamrup (M), Magistrate Colony, Hedayetpur, Guwahati-3”, however, applications received after the last date of receipt of application, as noted above, will not be entertained.

2) The candidate should fill up their application form in neat and clean handwriting without errors/ overwriting and must clearly mention their Mobile number and valid email ID for future correspondences.

3) The candidate must submit self-attested copies of Educational qualification certificates such as Mark sheets, Pass Certificates; Age proof certificate, Identity proof certificate, Caste certificate, valid Employment Exchange Registration, two Nos. of self-attested recent passport size photograph etc.

Selection Procedure

1) Candidates for the post of Data Entry Operator and Office Peon will be selected on the basis of Walk-in-Interview only. However, shortlisted candidates for Data Entry Operator post may have to appear in computer proficiency/typing test.

2)  Short-listed candidates will be notified about the details of the interview. No separate call-letters will be issued from this office.

3) Original certificates/documents will be verified/scrutinized at the time of Walk-in-Interview and will be returned after corroboration with the self-attested copies submitted by the candidates earlier with their application form.

4)  Furnishing of incorrect/misleading information in the application form will entail disqualification and may have to face consequences as per law, at any stage even after appointment.

Terms and conditions

1) The candidate must have good command over English language and official language of Assam.

2) No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates who appear in the interview.

3) The posts in all Cadres are purely contractual and will continue till the existence of this Tribunal. The candidate, if selected in the above-mentioned posts, shall have no claim to continue in service in case the Tribunal is abolished. 

4) Mere allowing a candidate to appear before the Interview Board shall not necessarily mean that the candidate is qualified and eligible for the position. The candidate’s acceptance shall be solely based on the qualifications, experience, performance in the Interview, etc., as assessed by the Interview Board.

5)  The Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement and/or selection process in parts or fully or any of the terms and conditions spelled out in the advertisement without assigning any reason and without thereby causing any liability to anyone.

Application Fee : There is no application fees for the aforesaid posts as per notification of Govt. of Assam, Finance (Estt. A) Department, Dispur, Guwahati-6. 

Last Date of Submission of Application: Up to 10 (ten) days from the date of publication of the Advertisement till 05.00 P.M. (26/02/2022) tentative.
