District & Sessions Judge, Assam released an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 2 nos. Of Peon and 2 nos. Of Chowkidar vacancy at Darrang District. Applications are invited in Standard Form from intending candidates for filling up the following vacant posts in the District & Sessions Judge Establishment. 1) Name of the post : Peon.
No. of post : 2 (Two)
Category : OBC/MOBC: 1 post, ST (P) : 1 post
Qualification & Experience : Candidate must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII standard; and those who have passed HSSLC (Class XII) or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.
Age limit : Age is subject to the existing rules of the State Government.
Salary scale : Rs. 12,000 - 52,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/- p.m.
2) Name of the post : Chowkidar
No. of post : 2 (Two)
Category : ST (P) : 1 post, ST (H) : 1 post.
Qualification & Experience : Candidate must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII standard; and those who have passed HSSLC (Class XII) or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.
Age limit : Age is subject to the existing rules of the State Government.
Salary scale : Rs. 12,000 - 52,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/- p.m.
How to apply District & Sessions Judge Darrang Recruitment 2022
1) Candidates must be an Indian Citizen, as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
1) Candidates must submit their application in standard format along with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Experience Certificate (if any) & Character Certificate along with 3 (Three) copies of recent passport size photographs, duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side and addresses to: the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, District and Sessions Judge Court Complex, Darrang, Mangaldai. P.O. :- Mangaldai, Pin- 784125, Assam, through post. The candidates who intend to submit their application by hand directly shall drop their applications in the drop box which will be kept in the Office of the District & Sessions Judge from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the working days from 15.02.2022 to 02.03.2022.
2) Envelope containing the application must be superscribed with the post applied for on the top of the envelope. For e.g. “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PEON IN THE DISTRICT & SESSIONS JUDGE ESTABLISHMENT, DARRANG” or “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CHOWKIDAR IN THE DISTRICT & SESSIONS JUDGE ESTABLISHMENT, DARRANG”.
3) Candidates must mention their contact details clearly, including mobile number.
5) Application received late or without proper supporting documents or unsigned or incomplete will be rejected.
6) The list of eligible candidates along with specific dates of interview shall be uploaded in the Official website of Darrang District Judiciary (https://darrangjudiciary.gov.in) in due course and via SMS. No separate call letters will be issued. Applicants are requested to refer to the official website.
Terms and conditions
1) Candidates serving in Govt. Department should submit their application through the proper channel.
2) If any candidate is found to have suppressed his educational qualifications or given wrong information, at the time of applying for job or later on, his candidature shall stand rejected without any information to him with immediate effect and shall also be liable to Criminal Prosecution as per law.
3) Separate applications to be submitted for separate post.
4) The eligible candidates shall be required to appear for Interview/Viva Voce before the Selection Board.
5) No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the Interview Process.
6) The undersigned reserves the right to alter/modify or change any terms or conditions, including selection criteria etc. mentioned in the advertisement.
Note: This is to inform everyone that the advertisement issued on 25.02.2020 vide Memo No. DJ(D) 1281- 84, dated 25.02.2020 by the Office of the undersigned, stands cancelled.
