District and Session Judge has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of 1 Peon vacancy  in the Court of Munsiff cum Judicial Magistrate First Class, Titabar in the scale mentioned against the name of the post as under. Applications are invited from eligible candidates in Standard Form for filling up the vacant post. Before apply, the candidate must read the official advertisement carefully. The details are given below.

1) Name of the post : Peon

Category : Category wise age limits for the post of peon, as on last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:-    

                        #Unreserved 40 Years 

                        #OBC/MOBC 43 Years

                        #SC 45 Years

                        #ST (P) & ST (H) 45 Years

                        #PwBD 50 Years


Qualification & Experience : Candidates must have passed Class VIII or read up to Class - XII. Candidates who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.


Salary scale : Rs.12000/- to Rs.52000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.3900/-



How to apply District & Sessions Judge Recruitment 2022



1) Interested candidate may apply through Standard Form.


2) The application with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card, Experience Certificate (wherever applicable) along with 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side should reach the Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Jorhat.


3) The applicants shall mention their Mobile Numbers in the application form without fail.



Terms and Conditions



1) Candidates must be an Indian Citizen, as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.


2) Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the Registration is to be valid as of date of submission of applications.


3) Candidates serving in Govt. Department should submit their application through the proper channel.


4) The eligible candidates shall be required to appear for written test, followed by vivavoce.


5) The candidates shall be required to appear in the screening written test. Marks obtained in written test shall not be the basis of final selection. It will be used only for the purpose of preliminary screening. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for viva-voce test. The syllabus for the written test will be Assamese, English, General Knowledge and Reasoning & Aptitude of Class VIII standard.


6) No individual call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates. However. List of candidates to be called for written test and viva voce will be uploaded in the official website of Jorhat District Judiciary (http://jorhatjudiciarv.gov.in) and candidates will download the same from the official website. The list of rejected candidates will also be uploaded in the official website.


7) Interview Centre: Jorhat (Date & Venues will be informed in the Official Website).


8) No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the interview process.


9) Application received late or without proper supporting documents or unsigned or incomplete will be summarily rejected.


10) Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.


11) The application should be addressed to the District and Sessions Judge, Jorhat.


12) The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice.



Last Date : The last date of receipt of application is 15.03.2022. No application will be entertained after the last date. The appointing authority shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any postal delay.
