District Judiciary Assam released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of Grade IV Peon vacancy in the establishment of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur, Assam. Applications are hereby invited from intending eligible candidates in Standard Form (Assam Gazette Part-IX) for filling up the vacancies of 4 (four) post of Peon (Grade IV)  in the Pay band and Grade Pay with other allowances admissible under Rules as shown below. Qualification & Experience : The eligibility criteria regarding the Educational Qualification of the Candidate is that he/she must have passed Class VIII but should not have passed Class XII. Candidates who have passed Class XII shall be ineligible to apply. Candidates having extra qualification like driving, electrical repairing knowledge and other skills useful in the office functioning shall be given preference and the candidates are to mention such extra qualification if any in their applications.


Salary Pay Scale : (PB1) Rs 12000-s2000/- + GP Rs.3900/-


Age limit : The candidates not be less than 18 years of age or more than 43 years of age as on 01-01-2022., The upper age is relaxable as per Govt. norms.



How to apply District Judiciary Recruitment 2022



1) Interested candidate may apply through Standard Form.


2) The application with self attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualifications, Age, along with 3(three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side should reach the office of the undersigned.


3) The candidates shall mention their mobile number in the application form invariably and also their e-mail ID in the application form if available.


4) Envelope containing application should indicate the name of the post applied for on the top in Block letters as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PEON".


5) The name of the candidates must be registered with any of the Employment Exchange of the State of Assam.


6) The application shall be addressed to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur.


7) The applicants shall submit their applications through postal service.



Terms & Conditions



1) Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India.


2) Candidates already serving in Govt. Department should submit their applications through the proper channel and if selected will have to submit "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of joining.


3)  Applicants for the aforesaid post whose applications are found in order will be called for written test/examination.


4) The said list of applicants whose applications are found in order as well as the specific dates of written test and interview shall be uploaded in the Official Website of Lakhimpur District Judiciary in due course. (http://lakhimpurjudiciary.gov.in). No separate call letters will be issued. Applicants are advised to go through the said Official Website regularly.


5) The final selection will be made based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the written test and interview/Viva-voice only.


6)  Interview center: Lakhimpur (Date and Venue will be informed in the Official website).


7)  No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the written test/interview process.


8) Incomplete applications i.e. those without necessary particulars, signature, photographs, testimonials shall be summarily rejected.


9)  Information given by a candidate in his/her application shall bind the candidate and if it is found to be false his/her candidature shall be cancelled forthwith and he/she shall be liable for criminal prosecution.


10) If any candidate is found canvassing directly or indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected.


11) The finally selected candidates will be under probation for a period of two years and the appointing authority shalt reserve the right to dismiss from service any selected candidate during the period of probation if his/her performance is not found satisfactory


12) The Selecting/Appointing Authority reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, alter any terms and condition of the advertisement at any stage.



Last Date : The last date of receipt of the application is 23.03.2O22. No applications will be entertained after the last date. The Appointing Authority shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any postal delay.
